What are the most comfortable shoes to wear if standing up all day in a Pharmacy?

I work in a Pharmacy as a tech, from anywhere between 5 to 9 hours a day. I was wondering what are maybe the top 3 comfortable shoes in your opinion for such job.

I am quite flat-footed, so I need something comfortable. I wear Sperry’s right now, and they are super uncomfortable.

well i would just go with sneakers.
wear a athletic sneaker so it gives lots of support and is comfortable
new balance shoes i would recommend because they are super
comfortable :D. if you wanted to be warm and comfy you could go
with ugg boots or a similar model to them.

What are the most comfortable shoes?

I have a lot of foot pain & can’t find shoes that don’t hurt my feet. I work in an office & can’t wear tennis shoes to work. I need comfortable casual & dress shoes.

My favorites are

Aerosoles (they have flexible soles, they are cushy, long-lasting, and they are fashionable! - http://www.aerosoles.com - they also have a few other brands - http://www.aerosoles.com/ourbrands/ourbrands.html)

Naturalizer (they also have flexible soles, are cushy and long-lasting, though not quite as fashionable - http://www.naturalizer.com/)

and Easy Spirits (flexible soles, cushy, not terribly fashionable, but maybe the most comfortable of the lot - http://www.easyspirit.com/index.jsp)

(Also, if you are having a lot of foot pain, you may want to get checked for plantar faciitis - http://www.webmd.com/hw/foot_problems/hw114460.asp)

Good luck!

Comfortable shoes and stockings for a nurse standing up for long shifts?

I’m a new nurse and I know that I’ll have an increased risk of developing unsightly swollen feet, varicose veins, embolisms and all that. What are some comfortable shoes that I can wear? What are some good supportive stockings that won’t cut off circulation? Thanks!

Im not sure if where you are you are allowed to wear joggers for shoes as a nurse, because you are here. But i would suggest going into a good sport shoe store and getting them to fit a shoe for you, because they can get shoes now to fit to your foot especially so that you have optimum comfort and support.

Otherwise if you cant wear them and have to wear black shoes, i would definitely suggest colorado’s They are just the best, so comfortable and they last forever!!!

And as for the stockings, its hard to say when I dont know your size however if you go into a good department store and ask the attendant in the hosiery section they will be able to help you out.

Nurses can count on Murse Mates to get comfortable shoes and support tights that will keep their legs and feet from becoming unsightly.

Comfortable shoes?

Ok, I’m on the short side and I’m looking for white/silver/ivory shoes that have a 2-3 inch heel to wear on my wedding day. Can you ladies recommend some comfortable shoes for me?

Unfortunately you can’t have the perfect high heels with dance-the-night-away comfort:-( The secret, however, is that you should have at least three pairs of shoes on your wedding day:-)
