Alright, now i know that these shoes are designer and all,but why are they so expensive? I am guessing that (besides the material and height) they must be like really comfortable.Anyhow, thx in advance!
Louboutins are expensive because they’re well made with quality materials. Also, they are limited quantities of them therefore you have to pay more to get them. Another factor that affects the price is how comfortable they are, to "Julia" no they do not hurt, they are quite comfortable and are a great investment to a women’s wardrobe. I myself would love a pair but I simply cannot afford them. I hope this answer, or partially answers, your question.

Hey, I’m a dancer, and I usually buy my ballet shoes from my teacher. They are around $10 but they wear pretty quickly and get dirty easily. I’ve seen heaps of them at Bloch dance store, but some of them go over $50, and I would never be allowed to get those. I go to the Bloch store in Parramatta Westfields, by the way .

I don’t want to spend too much on running shoes. If the brand doesn’t make a difference, I’m not going to pay heaps. So, for the basic running shoe (not gel or any of that), do brand names make a difference?

Expensive running shoes are needed to overcome a person’s biomechanical inadequacies. Translation: They prevent injuries.

If you are close to perfect, biomechanically speaking, and run on friendly surfaces then cheap shoes are OK.

However, the group of people who do not need good shoes is very, very small. I have seen one or two world class marathoners from Africa that could race barefooted on pavement but no one I know is like that.

Be very careful if you run in cheap shoes. It might work for you now but probably not for the next 5 or 10 years.

I recently fell in love with the brand name Manolo’s does anyone know were i can get designer shoes for less. I mean come on i really dont fell like spending $800 on one pair of shoes. Also i live in Toronto Canada so if anyone knows places were they have them or any other expensive brand names for less please let me know Thankkss

I went to a nike store the other day and the running shoes were so expensive and they looked and felt cheaply made. Like the ones you can buy at Kohl’s for $20 on sale. So why are they so expensive and where can you buy good quality sneakers?

brand name mostly, but also understand that a good pair of running shoes need to be VERY light, grippy, and flexible. You don’t want substantial weight. Just support, shock absorption, and protection - and that’s it.
