Well I would play up on the bohemian/ roman influence. I would wear rolled up jeans (loose or tight), not full length though, you want to show the glads off ;). You can then pair it with a cute graphic tee, or looser shirt (like the plaid since its in now) rolled up, and tank under neath. Due casual chic! links to pics bellow

My brother’s wedding is tomorrow.I had planned to wear red shoes with my red dress but tried to walk in them today but can’t so I am left with black strappy gladiator shoes or the tan wedges.I will be wearing a short winter white (fake) fur jacket in the Church.Also what colour bag? Wear wedges and red bag. Gladiator shoes would be nice, but too informal for a wedding.
I really want a pair of tie up or lace up gladiator shoes. I know this sounds weird but but the shoes would be even better if the laces (if untied) were able to be removed so I could change over the straps. If this cant be done it doesn’t matter. So does anyone know any sites or stores online???

i have these silver flip-flop type shoes with two straps on both sides you wrap around your ankle somehow like those gladiator ones.

Your mom is right, you usually put it in a bow. Try cris crossing them and tying it in a bow. However if u dont like it your dont have to do it that way. Tie it in a cool knot or do whatever you like. Be creative and unique!

I’d definately try zappos.com for the shoes. They have practically everything. As for the dress, I’m sure it won’t be to hard to find– it’s fairly common for a prom dress. Just do a google search.

I cannot return them.
i would use a shoe stretcher that has a toe/bunion attachment. if its leather use a damp cloth in the area then twist it 1/2 a turn. you may also try going in the opposite direction so you only do that strap. And if you bought them at a large dept. store you can take them back and they will stretch them for you. Good luck
