I am a hardcore runner and recently my feet starting hurting like crazy. From your experience, what shoes are the best running shoes between Avia, Saucony, New Balance, Reebok or anything else you might know of. Please specify a model number as well. Thank you in advance.

When I first started running about 24 years ago,
I ran on New Balance, for the first few years, and
they were great, but then I found out about ASICS…

They are the best! You never see big ads or anything
for them, but for serious running, they are way ahead
of everyone else…

By the way, the name is interesting too… ASICS stands
for: "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano" which is Latin for:
"a sound mind in a sound body"

The model number. It’s helpful for when you wear them out and need to get new ones, although they do replace some of them with new models occasionally.

How do I go about cleaning my shoes? Any tips would be appreciated.

Check and see if there is a tag or something on the shoe that tells you how to clean them. Probably the best way is to just wash them by hand or you might contact the company and ask them what they say is the best way to clean them other than by hand.

How worn will new balance take the shoes back?

Okay, so i’ve been getting into running lately. i’ve been jogging 1-2 miles for the past several weeks or so, and I feel like I could easily increase that to 3-4 miles a day, but I don’t have running shoes so i’ve only been going on short jogs to prevent myself from injurying my feet or knees. I want to get some descent shoes for running ASAP, but can’t get to a jogging/sports store anytime soon to pick myself up a pair of nice running shoes, such as asics. So, will a pair of new balance jogging shoes be good enough to do several miles a day for the next few months until I can get a better pair of shoes?

probaly not. new balance shoes are mainly for walking or for people with althortics. try some other brands. try hard to get asics best brand out

Please suggest a place online that i can review a good & cheap New Balance shoes, and what model is a good.

I bought a pair of 993’s from finish line but they say MADE IN USA on the front of the tongue under where it say’s NEW BALANCE. I paid 120.00 but I dont know if they’re real..

I have a pair of grey new balance shoes that I’ve only had 4 months and I don’t know how to wash them. Someone told me I could toss them in the washer machine just don’t dry them. If so what setting do I use? I should have bought the cleaner stuff when I purchased them but I didn’t. They have gotten dirty from just normal everyday wear, like dirt and walking through the grass. Please someone help because I don’t want to have to buy another pair already!

Wouldnt be too late if you went and bought the cleaner stuff you were advised to get when you bought them, but, you could also try holding them (one at a time) over a steaming kettle and brushing gently.Let them then dry naturally.

I’m in the market for new running shoes my old ones are worn out I love the look and styling of these and I have heard nothing but good things so far about them I was just seeing if anyone here has worn them before or tried them out and your thoughts! Thanks a bunch!

Did they start numbering the shoes from 1?
So far I have seen a 1223.
Now I have seen a 1700. I don’t see how they could have made 1700 styles of shoes.

You are correct New Balance did start at 1 and went from there, the highest will always be the latest release/
